Voices from recent sessions
My three Ledger units and one steel backup finally appear on a single timeline. The annual folder sits next to my property deeds — exactly where it belongs.— H.J. Park, Ulsan · Annual Rebalancing Record, March 2025
The session ran long because I had forgotten two small rebalance trades from March. They caught the gap without making me feel careless — though I wish I'd booked the mid-year check they suggested.— S.M. Choi, Busan · Annual Rebalancing Record, November 2024
I was sceptical about paying someone to write down what I already knew. After my wife asked where the backup phrase locations were documented, the estate handover pack paid for itself.— D.W. Kim, Daegu · Estate Handover Record Pack, June 2025
Opening snapshot was straightforward. The baseline folder made my first annual session much shorter than I expected — about three hours instead of the quoted four.— Y.R. Jung, Ulsan · Opening Snapshot, January 2025
Extended account: The four-device rebalance
Client: Retired shipyard supervisor, Ulsan
Engagement: Annual Rebalancing Record Session, October 2024
Portfolio: Four hardware wallets holding BTC (60%), ETH (25%), and two long-hold alt positions (15% combined)
The client rebalance twice yearly — every April and October — using a handwritten ledger stored in a fireproof box. His challenge was reconciling trades executed on two different devices during the April rebalance; one trade note was written on a sticky label that had fallen off the ledger page.
During the four-hour session, we reconstructed the April trades by cross-referencing blockchain timestamps the client looked up on his own air-gapped laptop. The missing sticky-label trade — a 2% ETH allocation shift — was recovered and added to the chronology. The bound record included a note recommending mid-year drift checks given his twice-yearly schedule.
The client returned in April 2025 for a mid-year reconciliation after taking that advice. He reported the supplementary sheet prevented a duplicate rebalance he had nearly executed because his mental model of allocation had drifted from actual device balances.
Extended account: Estate planning handover
Client: Small business owner, Busan
Engagement: Estate Handover Record Pack, February 2025
Portfolio: Six devices across three family members who co-sign rebalances
The client’s adult daughter would inherit signing responsibility but had never participated in a rebalance. The handover pack documented each device by kitchen-drawer label (the family’s naming convention), described steel backup locations by room and container type, and summarised the 70/20/10 allocation philosophy in plain Korean and English.
The client chose to have his daughter present for the final hour of the session. She asked clarifying questions that were incorporated into the guide. The client’s estate attorney received a copy at the client’s request — arranged separately and not included in the base fee.
