Scheduling Your Rebalance Around Tax Season

Many Ulsan-area clients rebalance in January or February, then book their annual record session before handing materials to a tax preparer. This sequence keeps your written record aligned with the calendar year your accountant expects.

The typical sequence

  1. Execute your planned rebalance on cold devices (you sign; we do not)
  2. Finalise your handwritten trade log within one week
  3. Book an annual record session for late February or March
  4. Receive the bound record by mid-March
  5. Provide the record folder to your tax preparer alongside other documents

Mid-year rebalances

If you rebalance in July as well, note both events in your log before the annual session. We compile chronologies for all events in the calendar year — additional rebalance events beyond two incur a supplementary fee quoted at inquiry.

Video sessions for overseas holders

Korean citizens living abroad often schedule video sessions during KST morning hours. The bound record ships by registered post; allow three extra business days for international delivery.

We are not tax advisors

Our record documents what you show us. Interpretation for tax filing is between you and your licensed preparer. See our Not Financial Advice page for scope boundaries.

Booking ahead

February and March sessions fill by mid-January. Submit your contact inquiry with preferred dates before executing your rebalance if you need the record within a specific window.
