About Systemhemlock

Founded in 2019 in Ulsan, Systemhemlock Portfolio Records Ltd. helps cold storage holders maintain written annual rebalancing records.

Registered business

Systemhemlock Portfolio Records Ltd. operates from Office 9, 71 Sample-gil, Jung-gu, Ulsan 00000, South Korea. We were established in 2019 after our founder spent two years maintaining handwritten allocation logs for family-held hardware wallets and recognised that most holders lacked a consistent written practice.

Origin

The practice began informally in 2017 when a Ulsan engineer asked a former colleague to witness his year-end rebalance and sign a printed allocation sheet. Word spread among local holders who preferred cold storage but needed a third party to compile their trade chronology into something an executor could follow. By 2019, the informal favour became a registered record-keeping practice with a dedicated office and binding equipment.

What we do

We compile annual rebalancing records for manually managed cold portfolios. Clients bring hardware wallets, handwritten trade logs, and allocation target sheets. We produce bound, dated documentation — never touching seed phrases or executing trades.

Our people

Kim Min-jun — Lead record compiler. Former industrial quality auditor who adapted checklist methodology to cold portfolio documentation. Handles flagship annual sessions.

Lee So-yeon — Drift reconciliation specialist. Maintains the mid-year comparison worksheets and cross-references trade logs against device-read balances.

Park Hyun-woo — Estate handover coordinator. Prepares plain-language guides for heirs and works with clients’ existing estate planners when invited.

Working approach

We treat each portfolio as a physical archive project. Sessions are unhurried. We use numbered page bindings, archival paper, and ink stamps — the same materials our founder’s family used for property records. Video sessions follow the same protocol: you read balances from your own screens while we compile in real time.

Values

  • Verifiability — Every figure in your record traces to a device label and a dated trade note you provided
  • Restraint — We document what you show us; we do not speculate on future prices or recommend trades
  • Permanence — Bound records are designed to outlast the hardware they describe

Relationship to clients

Most clients return annually. Some add a mid-year drift check after their first cycle. A growing number request estate handover packs once their children begin asking about backup locations. We respond to inquiries within two business days and schedule sessions within three weeks of confirmed booking.
